Season
Blue Moon Cinemas will operate year round. Rain dates will be listed on our website if needed by an event basis. Sign up to our email list to stay notified.

Start Times
We strive to have our feature presentation start 30 minutes after dusk. We often have pre-movie shorts and live entertainment to keep you busy before the feature starts.

Seating
We recommend low back chairs or bean bags. Seating is general admission, but you may be directed toward the mid part of the venue if you have a high-backed chairs. Our front half of the venue is reserved for low back chairs and blankets. We still encourage couches and other whacky seating.

Cost
All of our outdoor movies are free. We encourage donations which will benefit a designated charity specific for that event. Live events such as concerts and sports might have an admission fee. Please check our events schedule for further information.

Parking
Parking is determined by venue. Please refer to the website for event parking information.

Pets
We love our dogs just as much as you, but we ask that you don't bring them to the outdoor cinema. The large crowds, darkness and abrupt loudness of the movies could lead to unwanted accidents.

Lost Property
We try our best to get things back to their rightful owners. Please notify our Projectionist before you leave the cinema to report any lost items and leave your details with them. You may also leave a message for us here.

Weather
Texas is notorious for rapidly changing weather patterns. While the adjectives 'Hot and Humid' are often used to describe Texas weather, its temperatures seldom reach 100 degrees in our neck of the woods. Dallas’ climate allows residents to pretty much enjoy year-round outdoor sports and recreational activities. Unless there is lightening in the near vicinity or it is just dumping rain, without any sign of letting up...The Show Will Go On!

Believe us, if you come prepared, you will get through any bumps in the weather, making the outdoor movie experience one that will reward you ten times over! Don't forget...the key to staying warm during those chilly Dallas nights...layer, wear warm clothing and bring blankets and sleeping bags. Check weather forecast here

Concessions are determined based on the venue. Please check the website for event details.

Our Gear
We project our movies on a HDTV digital system. Our projector is extremely bright and crisp. We always screen the widescreen version if available. We use the industry standard in outdoor audio equipment.
